Specialty Membrane

What Is It?

We develop specialty membranes engineered for minimally invasive medical devices, combining flexibility, sealing capability, and controlled permeability to perform reliably inside the body.

What Makes It Different?

We use microlayer polymer deposition and sintering technologies to precisely control membrane properties, including multiple durometers, wall thickness accuracy to ±10 microns, and tunable porosity from porous to non porous, all tailored to device specific requirements.

We develop customized membrane solutions using ePTFE, polyurethanes, technical fabrics, and hydrogels, individually or in combination. By pairing these materials with our deposition and bonding technologies, we deliver membranes optimized for flexibility, strength, sealing, and biological integration.

Where Is It Used?

Our specialty membranes are used in a range of minimally invasive applications, including:

  • Embolic protection systems for debris capture

  • Expandable vascular sheaths for dynamic sealing and hemostasis

  • Gastrointestinal devices for flow regulation and barrier creation
