Two ways to cover a stent. Two very different races against thrombosis. Woven Dacron and ePTFE do the same job: seal the vessel, hold the flow. But the body heals them by different routes, and that changes when each one is most likely to clot. Woven fabric (Dacron, PET). The wall is a porous textile. Tissue can grow straight through it. Capillaries sprout from the vessel wall, cross the weave, and carry endothelium toward the surface from the outside in. In porous fabric, cov
