Fusicloth is a composite membrane that integrates a binding polymer layer onto an Fabric implantable membrane. This composite membrane serves as an effective adhesion platform for stents and scaffolds, allowing for a streamlined encapsulation process over nitinol frames without the need for sutures. This process can be done at significantly lower temperatures (266 °F / 180 °C). The combination of the biocompatible binding layer with the fabric layer gives Fusicloth customized mechanical properties, making it suitable for encapsulating various frame shapes and unique geometries.
As a leading provider of medical device components, we offer a comprehensive range of resources, including an extensive network of field application engineers (FAEs). Our team is dedicated to helping you bring new technologies to market. We will work closely with you to evaluate your frame designs, confirm the feasibility of encapsulation with Fusicloth using prototype samples, and guide you through a smooth technology transfer process. This enables you to apply Fusicloth to your own devices and components before commercialization.
